Ode to Family (the extended kind)

Today our last family guest went on their way – what a sad day!  For the past 3 weeks over Christmas and New Years, we have had the joy of having family stay with us.  I LOVE my family, every single one of them, and I LOVE spending time with ALL of them.  So thank you Great-Grandma and Grandpa, Grandma Lorraine, Grandpa Jose, Grandma Teresa, Uncle Paulo, Aunty Maria, Benjamin, Aunty Gina and Aunty Felicia for travelling so far to come and stay with us.  Thank you too Uncle Colm, Aunty Sharon, Jacinta, Aunty Jenny, Uncle Min, Oliver and Charlotte, for spending so much time with us too – and for living close by so that we don’t have to say good-bye to ALL our family (that would be more than I could handle).  Thank you Uncle Chris and Aunty Ang for all the phone calls, skypes and awesome gifts you sent us too – even thousands of miles away you still manage to make us feel so loved.  Thank you ALL for spending SO much time with me, Robert and Nicho.  Thank you for all the wonderful and thoughtful gifts you gave us.  Thank you for helping us through illness, exhaustion, crankiness and various food dilemmas:)  Thank you for playing so tirelessly with us.  Thank you for doing activities with us and always finding a new treat to share with us.  Thank you for watching Anne of Green Gables with us:)  You see why I love my family so much?  I miss you all so much and I can’t wait until we can be together again.
