Happy Valentine’s Day!

We have had a wonderful time preparing for and celebrating St. Valentine’s Day.  Daddy came up with a really fun Valentine’s Day Card idea and me, Robbie and Sarah have had fun getting them ready to give out.  I am proud of myself because I even wrote my own name on each of my cards.  Us kids also had a great opportunity to really experience what Valentine’s Day is really about; showing our love for our family and friends.  Grandma Lorraine came up with the idea of having all her grandkids help her host dinner for our moms and dads and Great Grandma and Grandpa.  So Grandma Lorraine worked really hard, and with our help, we put on a wonderful evening of showing how much we love and appreciate our parents.  We went over to Grandma’s house the night before Valentine’s Day to help her decorate and prepare things for Valentine’s Day.  Then on Valentine’s Day our parents and Great Grandparents came over and we served them appetizers and drinks while we prepared dinner.  We helped Grandma set the table and get things ready for dinner and then we all ate a wonderful dinner of spaghetti and meatballs.  It was a really fun evening and we sure learned a lot about how hard it sometimes is to serve others, how much our parents really do for us, and how we can show our family how much we love them by doing something nice for them.  Thank you Grandma Lorraine for being so patient with us and giving us such a great opportunity to celebrate Valentine’s Day – WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
