My First Jack-o-Lantern

I carved my first pumpkin today, all by myself!  I’m surprised mom let me, she is sometimes a little particular about how things get done – but she just let me do whatever I wanted with it!  I got to use a special pumpkin carving tool and after gutting the pumpkin I set to work.  It’s not perfect, but I sure had fun doing it.  It’s just a silly pumpkin face, but it looks super cool with a candle in it, and I’m really proud of it.  Mom helped Sarah carve out a pumpkin using a pumpkin prayer, so their pumpkin is pretty different to:)  Thanks Aunty Sharon for having us over to carve pumpkins and to enjoy your delicious muffins.  Sorry if we left lots of pumpkin guts on your floor!
