My First Tooth

My First Tooth

After lots of rubbing and chewing on things, my first tooth finally popped out!  Mom and dad say I’m such a good little guy, they could hardly tell that I was teething.  In fact, they didn’t even notice my tooth until Aunty Jenny pointed it out to them this afternoon.  Thank you Aunty, I was dying for someone to notice!!!  I’ve also mastered rolling from my back to my front.  I have managed to roll from my front to my back, but I can’t always figure out how to get there, still working on it.  I’m getting really good at sitting and I’m loving food.  My new found joy is swinging – I love the pink swing in our back yard and no one will hear a peep from me while I’m swinging.  I have been enjoying going for walks in the beautiful fall weather, but the other day a mosquito bit me twice on my forehead!  That was not very nice, but at least my head has not swelled up like my sister Sarah’s does when her forehead gets bit.  I’m enjoying life and being the centre of Robbie and Sarah’s attention.  I thought the novelty would have worn off by now, but they still fight over who gets to sit by me at dinner, who gets to lay beside me when I’m down and they always pick up the toys I throw off my high chair.  I love having older siblings!
