Fatherhood

Bobby and I have the most wonderful father on the planet.  Our daddy knows how important it is to really be a part of our lives.  He knows that, “Fatherhood turns out to be a complex and unique phenomenon with huge consequences for the emotional and intellectual growth of children.”  He spends the majority of his days, in the everyday details of taking care of his family, filled with seemingly mundane events.  He chooses to generously share his time with us and capture every cherished moment.  He puts us before his career, before his wants and desires, before his own plans and agendas.  We hope that you know daddy, that the choice to put your family ahead of all these things is like “giving up a fistful of mud for a chest of diamonds.”   Daddy, thanks for making me feel like a princess and for showing Bobby how to be a real man.  We love you very much.  Hope you like all the big words:)
