Trimming the Tree

We decided to decorate for Christmas a week early this year, as Uncle Chris was in town and he hasn’t decorated for Christmas in about 7 Years – aside from lighting up the palm tree in his yard…. What an exciting thing to do!  I just love seeing all the decorations again, and looking through all the boxes, and playing with the nativity scenes again.  My two favourite things this year was seeing the tree train again and putting the angel at the top of the tree.  I think I drove mom and dad a little bit crazy with wanting to get the train up and running, and then running it about 100 times.  But it is just so fun to watch, especially watching the wheels’ coupling rods go back and forth – it’s beautiful!  Mom says I’m such a boy – yes mom, I sure am.  As you can see, I’m not quite tall enough to get the angel up on top by myself yet, but I’m also getting a little heavy to hoist up to the top.  So I’m hoping that in 3 years, when it’s my turn again, I am tall enough to reach all by myself – won’t that be something?  I pray that everyone has a great advent!
