My Baptism Day

Today we celebrated the day I joined the family of God – what a day to celebrate.  We lit my baptism candle to remind me that I carry the light of Christ in me and I have to be a light to the world.  Well, I’m trying my best, and I think mom, dad, Robbie, Sarah and anyone who meets me would agree that I sure do bring LIFE wherever I go.  God has filled me with a zeal for living and I just can’t get enough.  I love to explore and learn to do more things all on my own.  I love trying to do exactly what I see my brother and sister doing, I don’t like to be left behind.  Yes, I’m pretty sure God has filled me with the gift of zeal and I hope that zeal is contagious to everyone around me, and that it doesn’t just leave everyone exhausted trying to keep up with me:) “Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your divine love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be recreated.  And you shall renew the face of the earth!”
